A Locust Inspired Micro-Jumping Robot with High Trajectory Accuracy

Abstract
A micro jumping robot with origami structures was demonstrated. The robot weighs approximately 13.5 grams and can adjust its jump height and take-off angle collectively. The jump trajectory of the robot is highly accurate, allowing it to overcome different obstacles.

Bio
Xiong Zhipeng is from Jiangxi Province, China, and he is now pursuing a master degree in mechanical and electrical engineering and automatic chemistry in Shenzhen of Harbin Institute of Technology, majoring in mechanical engineering. He would like demonstrate the latest research from his lab, the bionic locust miniature jumping robot, to the wide range of audiences of our workshop.
